ASPIE receives the High Sheriff’s Award for services in the community

We were delighted to welcome the High Sheriff of Worcestershire, Andrew Manning-Cox again to ASPIE, this time with his wife, Janet, when he presented us with his award for our work in the community. Twenty five members gathered to hear about the role of High Sheriff, a Royal appointment dating back to the Norman Conquest, admire the regalia and the jewelled sword. Andrew was interested to hear about our football team’s recent achievements in winning both the 3 Counties Ability Counts league and the Sandwell Inclusion play off, the presentation evening to celebrate plus the recent visit to Everbody Dance at Longlands Farm.
