ASPIE in the newspapers twice in one week!

We made the front page of the Worcester Observer featuring our quest to find a new football coach/manager for ASPIE Avengers and our two award winning teams who play in the Three Counties Abilities Counts League and The Sandwell Inclusion League. There are few football clubs which cater for those on the spectrum. We need a special person to train our teams weekly throughout the year and lead them to victory in the matches. Anyone interested please contact us on admin@wits-endweb.co.uk or call in on a Wednesday or Saturday afternoon.

Then after the Mayor of Worcester, Cllr Mel Allcott’s, visit to ASPIE on 9th October we featured in Berrows Journal, the Worcester News and the Mayor’s blog where she mentioned the importance of feeling comfortable in the presence of others and the value of friendship. The publicity from these sources raise awareness of ASPIE and the community we have become in providing a centre and activities so that adults on the spectrum can enjoy the same things as neurotypicals but in a place of their own.
