ASPIE Update
As more adults seek us out for support pre and post diagnosis and for a range of other debilitating issues, our membership continues to grow enabling many to learn to understand themselves and take part in activities which come easy to non-aspies but not always to those on the spectrum unless they find the acceptance, friendship, support and therapy to pave the way.

Members of our Group Art Therapy Group prepared the decorations and delivered our tree as part of Worcester Cathedral’s Christmas Tree Festival which is well worth a visit with 150 organisations taking part.
The Drama Group brought to us by NHS Worcester Health and Wellbeing has been a great success. It has brought so many benefits, particularly to quieter members who have blossomed because of their interest in drama and being able to take part in a setting tailored to them. Their increased confidence and happiness is evident and we are delighted that the sessions with Mel and Rosie will continue in the New Year.
We know many members have difficulty in accessing benefits they are eligible for and other advice and we are delighted that CAB Worcester will be with us Wednesday afternoons for the foreseeable future so that members receive their services privately or in group form in the familiarity of our centre.
Our Christmas decorations have been up for a little while now. Our Christmas Party is at 6 30 on Wednesday 18 December. Members are organising the buffet, competitions, raffle prizes for the quiz, fancy dress etc.
And a reminder, Christmas is a very difficult time for many adults (and their families) on the spectrum. ASPIE opens twice weekly, 52 weeks of the year. As Christmas Day falls on a Wednesday we shall be open 1-5pm so that we can enjoy spending time together with those who understand us most.
